Hey guys....I'm soooo damn excited! I just talked to my dad about helping me build a cage and he said SURE! Now I just measured and the longest cage I can have is 6ft long, about a 2ft width, & as high as I need.
What do you think I should get? I'm really thinking about another Iguana, Tegu, or some kind of monitor.
I am stumped! But I got awhile.
How about you guys give me some ideas? Maybe list some that i COULD keep and then some you think I should go for. I woulndt even mine a few Beardies!
THanks,

Na i definately dont want a Uro....but a few Beardies is definately sounding good! They're cheap...and they eat household items:) VEGGIES! So I think I should go for soemthing more omnivorous then carnivorous like a Monitor.
But hey I'm getting a job at Walmart for sure so maybe I can go for something larger:)

you could get a few ackies in a cage that size. Could be a fun breeding project.
If you can make it as high as you like, you could make the cage to the roof and get some arboreal species. Black or Emerald Tree Monitor would be my choice.
An iguana would be a nice thing to do, so many need good homes.
Have you thought about snakes at all? You could get a good sized snake in that cage.

Thanks guys.....BTS might be the way too!
KILOS I have enough snakes for the time:) I am gonna breed lizards before I work with my snakes.
If you enjoy a bit of a challenge and are ready to try, I say go for an iguana.
I never thought in a hundred years that I would end up with one, was never a big fan of them. Until I saw my "Paco" an ig presented at a local herp meeting in need of a good home. I fell in love instantly and am very happy to have him in my family.
I went from not liking igs much to totally loving them :)
They can be a handfull though! So if you're ready for a more advanced lizard, get a pretty iguana.
As KILOS pointed out, many are in need of a good home and it's the best feeling in the world to rescue one.

I still say Frilled Dragon. At least I think that was what I suggested when you posted a few weeks ago. I can't describe how awesome they are to keep. You said it could be a tall cage, so it would be perfect for one or two frillies!
But you went for leo's last time, which are also one of my fav's. :D

Yep haha.
Ok Drew I'll do research on Frillies and see if they fit to my likeing.
But right now my TOP choice is the Bearded Dragon.
I'm also looking into the:
Blue Tongued Skink
Mali Uromastyx
FRILLED DRAGONS
Thanks,

After reading through one of my Reptile Magazines....I found that they would be a pleasure to keep. And the best thing is that they're are of small size like the Beardies.....
Oh ya...I also pulled up some pics of Uros from a herp show...they're so dang cute as little ones:D
