I find that the more nervious the chams is the more he will do the walk i think at soem point they know who u are even though they still might be scared they have a understainging that iv seen that b4 so they stop being soo worried. Some of my guys still do it but its rare too bad... just my thoughts

it's cute to see the little ones walking along in those little jerky little steps.
is there anyone around London that breeds them? I'd prefer to buy from a breeder than a shop.

definitely Veileds :) and yeah, London Ontario. I forget there's Yanks on here sometimes :)
I'll drive a good distance for a healthy cham once my room is ready :) With Corey an hour away for BPs and Simon only about 20 minutes away for corns, I'm going to be in reptile heaven soon :)
Now if only the stupid tax return and court settlement would come so we can get our house.
my bad...st. thomas did sound rather british. :p nevermind, i guess.

Cruciform, i love this sentence, "I'd prefer to buy from a breeder than a shop." If i heard that every day i bet that well have a lot of happy reptiles! with no parasites from pet stores etc, good for you
Good luck

I think if you take you cham outside in the summer and put him on the grass, he'll do that walk for you.
I will mention to keep a close eye on him and not to let him out of your sight for a second, cause he will bolt. Or a bird might get him. But yeah, I have seen my adults do the funky walk outside.
Or, try putting him on the kitchen floor.
But of course, don't do it if its too stressful, (but it sounds like he's comfortable with you.)
