It will change again after lay season is done, but till then it will stay like this, with the laybox as part of the tank :)

k, I will describe what you see.

Starting from the right front corner, that is a feeding/water area. Closed in with the bricks, newspaper on bottom, water dish and food go in there. Saves making a mess with the water bowl and substrate.

Behind that is the mound of sand/soil for digging ladies. Blocked in with the bricks. Keeping dirt where it should be, till the ladies lay again that is.

Left front, open area, bran substrate.

Left rear, basking area/hiding spots below it, dragons are within inches of UV.

What do you think?

Do you ever find that the bran sometimes goes mouldy under the water dish? That seemed to constantly happen to me when I ever tried using bran.

If i see it correct, the water dish is on newspaper. So the water doesnt come in contact with the bran.
But i did hear more people saying that bran goes mouldy fast, when it has been in contact with water.

YES!!!!!! oh yes. That's why I seperated the area's. The area that the water dish is in has no bran except the odd flake that they dragon in there with their feet.

I was disgusted when I cleaned the tank ( did it after all 3 girls laid their first clutch ) because there was clumps of moldy bran YUCK. Hence the idea of seperating it into sections.

I'll grab a pic from above now that it's awake time :)
