Not sure which forum this goes into....so please move if it needs moving :D

These were SUPER neat! Tentacle Snakes...there were lots in the tank and all seemed like two + feet long and heavily patterned. Some had their heads sticking out for a look, although most were totally underwater.

I only know of one guy that has kept them. They are a very difficult species to keep in captivity, that is if you can aquire the things in the first place.

But very cool none the less...great snakes.

they belong in the general colubrid forum. they aren't too hard from what i understand. i have talked to people who have kept them, he says they are easy.

great pics, love these guys
i'v only seen them for sale on 2 websites and they only had them one time for a few days. that was back when i was trying to get some but i changed my mind about it. i figured theyd be really expensive but there not, around $75, i think thats cheap for a snake you rarely never find to buy. from reading about them, the main problem is when people get them they are WC and usually die soon after purchasing them. but i have heard of people sucessfuly owning them, but dont know if they were able to breed them. another problem with housing them is if they get out they could die over night.
heres one of the sites i'v seen selling them
