What humidity should these guys be kept at?

To be honest, the ones I've encounterred including my own, take care of their own humidity. They're habitual soakers. Mine spends half the week in his water bowl. And every day in his waterbowl when he's near a shed.

Being that they are from Mexico, it's most likely that they like it dry. Give them a water dish big enough to soak in if they change their mind about that, and always up humidity during shed time.

Thank you. I've been doing just that Invictus. My little guy went blue the other day and I wasn't sure if I should do anything else like add a humid hide or anything. Can't wait to see him once he's shed!

Successful shed this afternoon. He looks great, thanks for the replies.

Serpent Lust, soaking all the time sounds like it's a problem. None of my mex blk's have ever been habitual soakers. Considering they're found in the Sonoran Desert, I can't see where they would get the soaking habit from.

I simply spray the top of his hide box on the warm side once he goes into shed and my blk mex. king has perfect sheds everytime.
