Neat looking little guy..................unfortunately all of the ones like that that have turned up have turned completely normal after a couple months.
Corey
Corey maybe these ones won't turn normal. I hope not! Since I have 2 of these BEAUTIES!!!:D

It sure looks like some form of axanthism. I sure haven't ever seen anything like it but if it "turns into" a normal maybe it's just stunted pigmentation development...? Really strange looking for sure though.

Wierd. I hope it turns out to be something for you, KaHane. :)
Definitely not an arctic, and as Corey said these guys unfortunately have always gone normal after a while. But hey these could surprise ya and stay but I really doubt it as I have yet too see it happen with identical looking snakes to that. Hope ya didn't pay too much.:D

I have one that was nearly four years old and suddenly changed to look very much like that. His colors just faded out to almost axanthic, with a darker strip down the center of his back. I emailed numerous people about it, and no one could give me any idea why a ball python would change colors suddenly. Now, over a year later, he's darked up some, but has never gone back to looking like a normal ball python.

I've read about leucistic, axantic, anerythristic, etc. etc. but I haven't seen a definition for Paradox. What makes a Paradox?
BTW, beautiful specimens.
Hamster: It does resemble yours and also resembles His&Her's pythons ball. I do hope the don't turn normal. I guess time will tell. Hamster what is the sex of your's and did the colour just fade to axanthic overnight?
Mykee, yes these guys are imports.

That's a crazy looking BP. What would you call it if it is proved genetic?

Mine is a captive born male, and he was completely normal - went into shed as normal, and when he shed he was a different color.
