No one has been coming here for at least 2 weeks. No one has posted or pretty much even come in here. Shortly where is everybody???

I've been wondering the same. I check this site at least twice a day - thought I was the only one!

Yeah, I've noticed that this area has slowed down quite a bit as well. I'm sure there's more than just us that show an interest in Erycines?

Well in my world my Nukes are doing great, eating like pigs! My anerys on the other hand are only half great. The female is eating very well never skips a meal but the male has been off for about 4 weeks now. I hope he snaps out of it soon. If he does and they keep feeding like they were then I'm sure they will be ready to try and breed next season.
Cheers,
Trevor

Hi Guys, it's kinda the off season right now as far as breeding goes.
My Rosy boas are just out of hibernation, and it will soon be time to start pumping them up with all the sandboas in preparation for breeding. I don't feed sandboas much in the winter and of course Rosies don't eat at all while brumating at 55F all winter.

I've got a ton of rosy boas breeding right now so I've been busy feeding and pair them up for some great selective breeding this year. I've got some pics of my mid baja's and mexicans breeding but I haven't had the chance to post them. I'll try and get a ton of pics up in a week after exams.

Cheers
Ian

I'm pretty excited as I should be getting a Saharan and Roughscaled Sand Boa next weekend. The Saharan is one of the few imports brought in years ago and is gorgeous. What a difference in how they feel and the glossiness of their skin compared to a Kenyan (but I still love my Kenyan!). I will of course post pics!

Yes! Please do post pics, and lots of them! :D

I would love to get a rosy boa, but the humidity is way too high for them when my bps shed, it seems I can't get their cages high enough without making a lot of the room the same. My kenyan got a place away from them though, so he should be fine.

He is doing fine by the way, he ate last weekend, without biting me this time too! :p

What do amels look like? I was under the impression that aneries and amels were the same thing.

Read my first post.
Amelanistic is the lack of black pigment. Anerystic mean lacking red pigment. Axanthic mean lacking yellow pigment. That why ball pythons that are silver and black because they're yellow pigment is not present are called axanthics.
