well, my dragons are anyways LOL
This pic won an award from a pet photo contest our local paper was having.
What do you think of the pic?

I see room for improvement, but, not much I can do with the camera I have. The only image editting I did was crop the pic, and put the frame on it. I did not touch the colours, etc.
Camera: Sony Cybershot 2.0MP ( DSC P31 )
hence not being able to improve a whole lot.

Thats cool you won the contest :)
Nice lookin dragons too, they look happy.
And by the way that is a pretty good pic for a 2 mp camera.
i have a 3.2 mp camera and i cant even take pics like that with it...
That's a nice pic and congrats!

Great picture!
The only things I would improve on, is the "space in front of the face" rule.. leaving more space to the left of the photo (and maybe on the bottom). It also helps a picture to get down to the same level as the animals are (especially when one is on top of the other, so it shows less distortion of size.. just the lens choice can cause it as well .. usually the most distorted shots resulting from a wide-angle lens up close). Just a few things I've learned from my interest in photography :)
Congrats on the contest award! :bounce:

Thanks everyone :)
Heather: some very good points, I will definately keep that in mind. I don't have the original anymore, but that pic was cropped, mainly because I wanted to cut out the 3rd dragon in it without image altering with PSP. But I do think more room on the left would have helped. The pic seems "in your face", and a little less may be better.
Only thing that stinks, in the paper, they but the pic in black and white. I will post it in the general section ( pic of the paper ).
Thanks for looking folks.
