posting pictures

does anyone know how th reduce the size of a picture file the pictures i want to post are like 1 000 000 bytes and the limit is 25 000 what can i do? do you guys take your pics with a digital camera?

yea i have to always resize my pics...use photoshop if you have, tahts what i use.....good luck

Resize them with photoshop as Bartman said, then upload them to your FREE photohosting account on the site, then your limit is 500k instead of 25K and your free account is 1Mg

That should help you out a little.

by resize do u just make the thumbnail smaller or what do u mean?

or instead of photo shop take it and paste it into paint then right click on the picture(in paint) and select select all then take the picture and make it smaller then save to check the bytes go to where the picture is saved and right click and go to properties read and it tellswhat the bytes are, keep doing the paint thing til its the size youwant, it can be easier sometimes thats how i do it with my digital camera. hope it not hard for you and i hope i helped.
