I've had my my corn snake for just over 2 years. I'm wondering how long will he continue to grow? I know he's probably almost full grown (he's 4') but will he continue to slowly grow for another year perhaps???
Thanks...
MIKE
they grow all there life, just at a very slow rate. as they get to around 4' ish they tend to get more girth than length growth:p

Their most rapid growth happens in the first 3 years, after that is slows down. You very well might see another foot of growth out of him, assuming you got him as a newborn.
That's why they continuously shed... I think.

yeah...i know they always grow, but i thought mostly just in girth. I did get him as a newborn. He's just been switched to small adult rats, so likely if he has some more growing to do, it should be soon.
Thanks all...

oh, does the rate of growth have anything to do with the size of tank they are living in? ie. bigger tank allows for better development???
Cheers,
MIKE

no, thats an old myth. A snake will out grow their tank/cage/enclosure.
