lol my mum found a 4ft tank, one of her friends was going to throw it out and now i have it its 49"x24"x12" (LxHxD) its got a dark wooden top and (kind of a bonus) its got a big chip in it, big enuf to fit 2 electric wires in for lighting and for a heat mat, my 3 gecko's are in there now, only thing is i have to keep a eye on the crix due to them climbing the rubber'y thing thats in the corners (to keep it together) but my geckos seem to get them all,
Whats the best thing you've found?
Illl have to say my tanks witch (all exsept 2) i got or found for free (that includes my bps tank my geckos tank on my corns baby tank)

I have a friend who gave me a 48 gallon aquarium with the stand, screen lid, combo light, heat pad, and also the fish equipment she got when she bought it. Oh and the kicker is she also delivered it, now that's a deal.

Best find ever was a microwave that we decided to tie to my buddies car and drive down the street with. Note to everyone- Microwaves are not that durable at 70 km/h.

LMAO!! Good find.
Best pet related was a mouse cage my mother found at her school that they were going to throw out. Great for the feeders.

In the last year at my work, I have been given a 100 gallon reptarium, a ball python, an 80 gall. long tank (6 feet long), a 110 gallon wooden terrarium that sits on top of the tank, a water dragon, a mystery lizard (see photo gallery), a 20 gallon tank, 2 10 gallon tanks, 2 leopard geckos, a fat tail gecko, an emperor 400 filter and tons of heat pads, decorations, lighting, vit. and min. supplements, etc. I'm thinking about starting up a reptile shelter since i have the space and all the extra stuff. I tried adding everything up once, and new it would have all cost over $2000 US.

At a big pet store in the states, where I am the "reptile guy". I am also a dog trainer, which is how I really make my living. Of course there are the baby herps that are starting to make me some more money too. :)

I once found a 4.5 ft ball python living in my dirt basement(crawlspace) she must have got lose from a previous owner and managed to live in the basement and survive well actualy she's what got me into the many snakes i now own... she was abit under weight but that's all good now she eats 1 large rat every 7-10 days only things she is very agresive and hisses and lunges everytime i try to handle her guess it's natural due to what she has been through.... only question i keep asking myselfs is how long has she been independant before i found her lol

the best thing i ever got for free was a 65 gallon reptarium and a 24" reptiglo 5.0 uva/uvb light with a hood. my friend's sister's boyfriend was going to throw it out since his veiled died. but he ended up driving me to a reptile show and i told him i was interested in getting a chameleon and he gave me the cage and light with a hood for free. it saved me about 90$

i had a 125 gallon aquarium that got a crack in it and i sold it and the stand for $75 to my wifes cousin. he still owes me $25 on it and told me i can have it back and call it even if i'd like. only problem is i dont have a good place to house a 6 foot aquarium anymore.
my best deals-
two 100 gallon aquariums with tops, heat mats and a beautiful climbing log, all for $100
two 4 foot red tail boas for free
a 4.5 foot feeding, healthy, friendliest BP i'v ever met for free with every thing
plenty of other tanks and animals for free, but the above are my favorites
