Hi everybody!
I have two female Kenyan sand boa,
and I'm looking for a male to breed my females.
They are approx 2 feet and 2.5 feet.
The female of 2 feet has 3-4 years old, and my other female of 2.5 feet....I don't know!
What is the minimal age, or the minimal lenght for a male who could breed my two females?
I read in a book, that the season of breeding of the eryx colubrinus colubrinus is in July, but does the eryx colubrinus loveridgei is in the same season?

Thanks for all this info!
:)

Based on experience, I would say that a male between 18-24" long and about 2-3 years old should be perfect to start breeding.

Males are mature at 15 inches and around 70 grams. They should be in their 3 rd year.
They breed from May into July.. It's quite variable depending on when they get cycled, as they usually breed a couple months after a cooling period. I cool mine every winter down to 70's at night... from Dec into March... They then breed from May into late June with babies in Sept and October.
