View Full Version : terrarium backgrounds
Hi everyone, i need to get a 24" desert background for my beardies. None of the petstores seem to carry it, and the only place i found one for sale was cagesbydesign.com and they wanted $75 for a 48" long piece. And thats american!!! Isn't that outrageous? Can anyone tell me where i can order one, without it being such a crazy price? thanks

Find an art school and offer a student 25.00 for an original.

Hey PetSmart has them for a couple buck per foot. They are with the aquarium backgrounds. If there isn't one near you, I wouldn't mind mailing one to you and I'm sure there are others closer to you that wouldn't mind as well. Just pay for shipping and it's cool with me. PM if you want.

SOMEONE online is offering printable terrarium backgrounds (giant-sized photos that you can print to fit your needs). I imagine Kinko's could print one for you for a fair price.
I wasn't able to find the link again, but I do know it's out there--it's someone associated with reptile breeding/supplies.
where am i gonna get a picture i can blow up to 48"x24" though?

no, they have some desert looking ones or forest ones as well, intended to be used on terrariums with lizards and snakes, etc
they have 24" backgrounds at your petsmart? sheesh, my petsmart sucks! I might call you on your offer! Thanks
