i posted a thread a while back about my rose hair not eating and some one said to turn up the humidity, so i did and he still wouldnt eat. i bought a fuzzy and gave it to him, he drove his fangs into the mouse a few times and left it to die. im getting worried because he hasnt been eating. any advice would be great!

It could be in pre moult and it killed the mouse so that while moulting it would not be hurt.

Rose Hairs do that sometimes from what I understand. They go off food for awhile. They seem alot like ball pythons.

Mine's eating like a pig right now so I'm enjoying it because I know it won't last for long.

Yeah I agree with the molt thing. But if after a while, she shows no sign of molting or eating, try raising the temp too this time. Might work..

Don't bother with raising the humidity for a G. rosea. It wouldn't be appreciated as they like it dry. This species is known for doing *odd* things, one of which is fasting for long periods, sometimes up to a year. I have two that fasted for 8 months. Just make sure the T's water dish is full, try feeding it once a week or every two weeks and just wait it out. As long as your T isn't losing weight it's nothing to worry about.
