For those that have not seen a Chocolat king up close...The texture and color are just amazing. These pics don't do it very much justice. You almost need to put him on a white or even brown back ground.
Right on Jim. That'll do until i get back to Ottawa.
Thanks bud,
Brian

Hey Brian, well sometimes new is not always better. Here is a fresh group of "Hershey" pics. Shot with my older Mavica FD85 and a macro lens. These pics show her true colours. Enjoy :)

Jim, I think Hershey and this fellow will make interesting offspring...
For everyone else. I posted the Cal King because i managed to pry it from Jims collection for a Christmas gift this past season for my wife

By the way Jim. Your web site is looking really good.

Great looking snakes guys! I saw a few juvenile "nitidas" at the last show I was at. I WAS going to pick one up, along with an albino snow mate. But, it was around 3 degrees F outside, and figured it was too cold to be dragging snakes around :( . Ah well, maybe next show ;) .

Thanks folks,
Mary...well Brian went and let the "snake out of the bag". Yes we are going to breed her when she is ready and yes..we will likely pair her up with Brian's albino. Man.. he never could keep a secret...;), but at the same time, I would like to get my hands on a true mate for her.
Brian..thanks man..I haven't had a chance to work on the site in the past couple of weeks, hope to get back to it soon. I have been a little busy getting the breeders ready.
Cheers

Jim ... I figured Brian's hint might be more than that. Glad to hear you are thinking of breeding her - the lav albino is a neat snake but Hershey is something special - very pretty girl and hope you will be able to find one like her to pair her up with one day.
That big hondo girl you guys share is looking good too - bet you are hoping for some pretty babies this year!

Mary..yeah Brian is pretty excited about "hershey", whenever he comes over, I have to make sure he doesn't slip her into his pocket, on the way out..;) And yes I am looking forward to breeding her. Hopefully 2006. IN the meantime I will be working with my Banded Calis who have recently been warmed up for the new season. And yes I am definitely looking forward to a bunch of Hondo babies when Brian returns to Ottawa.
Cheers
Jim
great snakes guys. reading this post and seeing pics of that cal king reminded me of that chocolate looking king invictus had acquired a while back. the one that resembled a davis locale king. just wondering invictus, do you have any new pictures of that snake? davis local or not, that is one of the baddest kings ive ever seen to this day.:) please post more pics if you have any...
