5 looooong months

Its been 5 months since this guy last ate, and then finally today WHAMMO he took a small rat. I am sooo happy now, i just hope he keeps it up.

Got to love when they suprise you like that...5 months of nothing so you just expect they won't take it this week and catch you off guard. Glad the wait is over.

Lucky You, now if only my girl would eat, lol.
My male caught me off guard like that. I usually offered refused mouse fuzzies to him, usually had to throw them away, one day he hit it so hard he left a leg hanging in the tongs, lol.

Wooohooo, congrats!! :D I know how you feel, my male went off food for 6 months last year... I can still remember how happy I was the night he finally took a rat! :) Hope he keeps it up for you....

My female ended a 2 month fast just last Sunday so I know how good it is to finally get them eating again. It's such a pain when you're trying to get them up to breeding size and they just decide to stop eating for you...
