Hello. My name is Amanda. :D

I am 17 years old and I live in Texas, USA with my cousin and her husband Eric because I do not have any other family members alive. They have either died of natural causes, or during a plane crash a while back.

My parents, themselves, were killed when I was a little baby by a drunk and drugged up truck driver.
------------------------

Sadly, I have no way of posting pictures because my cousin broke the scanner and I am saving my money to buy the latest caravan model, which has the fold-in "hide-away" seats because I need a lot of room to get my pets around. Also, the seats can come up whenever the caravan is been used to get myself and my friends to school.
-----------------------

I have a lot of pets, cause my cousin works in a very successful oil company [I don't remember the name] and I am her only known relative left alive, I get spoiled. :o

Anyways, I will quickly mention my pets. I'll start with the feathered friends.

Grata is a beautiful scarlet Macaw. She is seven years old and the first ever bird that I actually owned. She is capable of saying such words as "Give me a cracker", "Crazy snake", "Were-Cat [female cat] on the LOOSE!" She used to have a mate, Rato, but he sadly died a few months ago because of a serious illness which hasn't been explained of yet.

Erto is a scarlet Macaw. The two year old son of Rato and Grata. He rarely talks for he was originally sold to a person who said that Erto would be well taken care of. When I visited once, Erto was sitting in a tiny cage half his feathers plucked out and looking very thin. I gave the person his money back, minus the vet bills for Erto's treatment, and took the Macaw away.

Angel, Sarah, and Max are all canaries. Angel is a rare albino canary who was originally going to be killed by her owner for albino canaries are relatively harder to take care of than the typical canaries and the owner didn't want to be bothered with caring for her. Sarah and Max are normal canaries. Angel is caring for a nest of babies and soon, hopefully, they will hatch.

Next, the four-legged furred friends.

F2, F4, F3, F5, 1F2, 2F2, and M2 are medium sized rats. They have no names because of the fact that they are just used for breeding babies to feed to my snakes, which I will mention soon. On average, the babies easily feed the snakes, with extras left over to continue breeding later on.

Brya is a beautiful blue stray female cat with "tiger" stripes that I found when I used to live with my grandmother [until two years ago, but like most of my family, she is now :w not with us]. Brya is a mother cat of two litters; one from two years ago and the from my tomcat [male cat] Rex who is a blue point Siamese.
There are four kittens [1/03/2004]: Taya who is a blue point Siamese female hopefully; Ftro who is a black male; Vega who is a calico female; and Rolly who is a fat brown male

Rex, is a pure-bred blue point Siamese [blue point has a bluish-white body with slate blue points{legs, tail, mask, ears}] who used to be used as a breeding and show animal until he suffered serious burns because of a house fire. I bought him two years ago and he fathered the kittens mentioned above.

Gjina is a pure bred black Arabian mare. She is very small and light boned. She has numerous scars crisscrossing her boby for she was stolen as a youngster and then abused. Her bloodline and registeration are unknown. She was originally going to be sold at an auction where with her abused history, she'd end up at a meat plant.
Doing research, I believed she belonged to a farm that burnt to the ground a while ago, but there is no history in their records of a black Arabian filly and therefore I am not that sure anymore where she came from.

Pyro is a wolf. I found him when I lived with my grandmother [near YellowStone National Park]. He is red colored, which is not an actual wolf's coloration. So when the wolf parks were contacted, they wanted to have nothing to do with him since his breeding was unknown and therefore they weren't sure if he was pure wolf or a mutt.

NOW, finally the snakes. Of which I have TWO.

Bryo is a male albino Boa Constrictor. He calls the old living room of my cousin's house his home which has been seriously modified to house two snakes. Bryo is only 5 feet long, but he has a serious appetite. Nevertheless, I do not over feed him and make sure that he isn't getting too heavy. He is my favorite out of the two snakes.

Queen is a female albino Boa Constrictor. She calls the old living room her house as well because it is more than large enough to house two snakes of their size so far. It is 24 ft by 20 ft, is that large enough?. She is 6 feet long and still growing of course.

That's me and my pets.:D
