Do atbs change colour? I thought that was etbs?

amazons CAN change colour. but they dont always lose it. as you will see there are many red adults.

Great looking ATB's. Yeah they should keep there color quite close to what the are now. May fade a bit but nice specimens there Jordan.

Yeah the red one won't lose its color. The lighter patches may become more prominant but not much

So atb's don't change to green? I guess thats GTP's or ETBS? Lol, that proves I know a lot about them, eh?

I think that's better then, that they'll keep their colour. Nice!

ATB's DO change, but not in the way ETB's or GTP's do.

Many ATB's have a color "change" much like say a cornsnake from hatchling to adult hood. Some colors may fade, some get stronger or they stay somewhat similar and normally these changes occur over sheds. Where as ETB and GTP have a true ontogenic color change which happens when it happens.

Beautiful! They are really nice animals. Where did you get them? I am a BIG fan of Amazons and have a really nice yellow that I purchased from Dr. Phil Blaise about a year ago (check out my gallery) and a 2.2 breeding group that I recently purchased from Hamill reptiles.

And in case anyone can help me here, saw some photos of the offspring from the proven pair that Darren Hamill produced in 2002 and am wondering if anyone out there has any of the litter. The babies were pretty sweet so I'm wondering what the the colours are like now?

Heh... the Pumpkin looks evil.. :p They've got gorgeous eyes though... wow, they truly are amazing... *is mesmerized by their beauty*
