A couple pics of the bloods breeding. I have 3 adult females but no breeder male. Dan Uremovic from Calgary was nice enough to send me his male on breeding loan. Here are a couple pics. 2 of my 3 females have been bred. This is the same male that fathered the clutch of reds from last year.

That male is beautiful! My female is colored similar to yours, what percentage of the offspring will end up as red as the male? Also, how big is the female and is this the first she's bred?

Way to go! I used to prefer, and select for, light head color. Now I seem to have gradually changed over to really liking those dark head animals like yours there.
When do your females generally deposit their clutches?
Thanks,
Joan
Awesome Corey
Here are some pics of him before he made the flight to your place.

Apparently this guy just does not get enough.
The blonde female ovulated and has shed out on March 12, hoping for some eggs in 25 - 30 days. Thanks again Grant Vg very happy with the pair.
