No picks right now ... He is about 12 inches total, about the size of Max. Super friendly and cool. I never thought I would say 'friendly veiled' but it is true!

watch out, you probably won't want to give him back if he's that cool

how much you handle your cha doesnt depend on niceness???? so it is totally different from iguana then....

i think it would, you're obviously not going to be handling a cham that's hissing and biting... ;)
sorry, just saw that you had your words a little mixed up... :D

No, it doesn't have to do with the amount of handling. I had a male, my buddy had a female. They were both very young when we got them and at about a year old mine would get obviously stressed when I held him, but my buddy's would turn around and bite him any chance she got.

yeah, same thing with my cousin. he has a veiled, and when it was younger it didnt mind being handled, but now, he picks it up to move it outside or something and it starts hissing at him and trying to bite him. its funny though, haha.

my male is almost tame-he likes taking crickets from my fingers, and is ok with being held.My female doesnt like being touched at all though-she will take the odd cricket, but usually gets defensive, hisses and mock bites-doesnt close her mouth, but lunges.Ive got some pics of him as hes growing up-I forgot how small he used to be,wow do they grow fast!

I bought him at the nov reptile show, and they said he was 2 months,so id say hes about 6 months old.

does he liked to be held or is he offstandish....how often do you hold him and for how long?

he seems like he doesnt really get what im trying to do when i pick him off of whatever hes clinging to,but i just poke at his feet, and try to keep my hand under him until he gets what im doing, and once hes on my hand hes fine.I dont play with him too often, usually its just to move him to a different spot,or to his food area.Hes kinda free range-he lives in the window and has a 5 gal aquarium with some sticks in it to go to and get crickets.Theres a branch on each side of the window ive clamped there for him to sleep on at night but lately hes been sleeping on top of the vertical blinds. The female has her area also in the window, but they generally avoid each other. She sleeps in a pothos plant near the feeding tank and hangs out on the bottom window ledge more when sunning.
Not sure if the lack of a cage helps with there tempermant at all,but i doubt it.The female used to be grumpier when she was small and lived in a cage.
