We found in the grill of the car after the Red Deer trip. I thought I hit something. These guys are crazy all summer. The males are super territorial and I've even been attacked by some! I felt bad, but I was going 140 the whole way so there was NO way of avoiding him.

too bad, but in the wild it is sometimes survival of the smartest. And with you driving it's smartest to stay on the perch lol j/k Jeff

You ever notice those things try to mess with cars and play games on the freeway like dodge car. I swear they are playing youth stupidity games sometimes... Oh well. Next time they will learn to stay away from the big long warm flat rock.

My b/f and I hit a suicidal blackbird a week or so ago... it flew out in front of us, then turned right at us! Made a good solid *thump* on the windshield (maybe it was trying to kamikazi us?)... and when it hit the road, another blackbird flew out after it. I suppose it was either looking for a meal, or saying "no! no, carl why?! you had so much to live for!!"
