look in any and all places that are warm. I had a baby retic get away from me, he went under a cabinet in the kitchen..well by the time my friend ripped the cabinet from the wall...the retic was gone...we pulled out the refrigerator...and there he was..coiled up next to the motor!!

Seal off any doors and be paitent. Chances are 3 in 4 that you will find him. I have lost about 12 snakes out of 30 over the years and all but 4 have turned up.

Start going through the TONS of stuff. Have fun! Mark
P.S. there are tons of threads out there already inreguards to this topic.
Look in all the places that you think, "a snake couldn't fit in there". After you find him, the most important thing you can do is fix however he got out so it doesn't happen again. Good luck.

Hmmm, Its been about a day and I've torn my room apart but to no avail. I will go through it again today but I hope that he didnt get outta my room cuz then I would have to check all 4 floors and 26 bedrooms (I live in my fraternity) and he could be ANYWHERE!
Look up. They're arboreal.

look there at night with a flash light :)
I had an escapee jungle once. I found in a closet, up on the shelf. They like dark spaces with lots of cover, or as it's know at my house clutter.

I've only had 2 escapes...both corns. what worked on both ocasions was dropping the room temp and putting a hide and a heat lamp in the middle of the room.

Good ideas too, I'm gonna put out a water bowl and maybe a fuzzy mouse with a heat spot tonight. This is getting stressful as I hope that he didn't get outta my room!
I still can't believe that he made it betwen the pieces of sliding glass on his cage!!??!!

The question I have is did the snake make it out on its own or was there a "party" to its escape. You mention you live in a Dorm, how secure is your room from others? Mark

On his own, he slid between the panes of glass in the sliding track. There is a chance he got outta my room as theres a gap below my door, but that is now closed off
wow i really hope you find him, dont want any one else in the building hurting him =\ hopefully you find him or whoever else finds him calls you, good luck.

Well, after five days I was beginning to worry that I wouldnt find him, I even left a mouse out with a hot spot last night and that didnt work. While on the computer tonight I stretched and happened to glance up and saw him on my curtain rod! Heres how I found the sneak!!
