thanks guys:)....the scorpion usually has her tail lying down beside her in an arc which looks unusual....i think it may have something to do with the fact that they hide in very flat tight crevices.

I love that red milipede, awesome!!! I am so jealous of your greenbottle blue, if I get another T it will be that one!

Lots of scorpion species put their tails to the side....... You are correct in saying that the flatrock does this because of its habitat........ You would be suprized where a flatrock can fit itself.......... All the species of US bark scorpion do this as well......

thanks Dani...the gbb is super...I love its crazy webbing!
Gregg...the slate hides I built for her have very narrow spaces and I had doubts she would fit in there....until I saw her disappear!lol...

Hey Aidan, the versicolour sling hasn't moulted yet...although it refused a meal today so perhaps the time is coming.....how about yours?

Yve,
Have you handled the scorp at all????? They are actually pretty calm...... I have been stung by flatrocks before....... It aint that bad........ But then again, I have been stung by Parabuthus trans..... And by C. vittatus....... P.trans was the worst...... So flat rock stings are like a walk in the park for me.....LOL

lol.....Aidan, I find it amazing when they shed and double....my first t (well technically my second:rolleyes:) the mex. red knee is growing like a weed and, as well, looked twice as big when it molted....same with the gbb....I think I'm inlove with that one...the pattern on its back is amaaaaazing!:):):)....ugh...i think I got giddy there for a second....lol
Gregg, I handled my emperor once...for a photo shoot, unfortunately the pics didn't turn out very well...interesting experience though....she wouldn't stop walking and I was so worried to put my hand in front of her and get pinched but I had too or it would tumble over...lol
the flat rock I haven't held.....

I've held every single one of my animals at one point or another, even if only for a few seconds.
