hogg isle boa humidity?

There is not much specific care information concerning Hoggies on the net. Everything is general red tail boa or something. I herd that they should be kept at about 60% humidity, but now I herd they should be kept at 80%!!!! does anybody know which one I should follow?

Id keep it closer to 50-60. 80% is really high for a boa from what Ive heard discussed before. If its 8o% constantly you could run into problems. Stick to 50-60 percent if you can. Some people can argue it can be much lower but it seems like a good percentage for proper sheds and general health.

I agree with Ryan, you most definitely will encounter probelms with such a high humidity. I find they do well with around 50% humidity.

k thank i thought so but somene wrote 80% somewhere for hog isle boas, i thought it was wrong

I keep my room at 50-60% and they always shed perfectly.
