Anyone out there from Saskatchewan know wether its legal to sell Scorpions and arachnids in Saskatchewan? The By-laws are rather vague. They state that newts, salamanders, lizards etc.. but nothing specific regarding arachnids and scorpions.
Apparently all Boids all considered illegal? Wouldn't want a deadly rosy or kenyan sand boa taking down the neighboorhood dogs now would we? So we can own a nine foot mean as hell wild caught Bull snake, crocodile or any monitor but no Boids. What a goofy place it must be.
Thanks in adavance fr any guidance.

All Boidae are prohibited province-wide, and as far as I am aware, there are no restrictions on Arachnids or scorpions, save those few municipalities, like Kindersley.

Saskatoon and Yorkton also have bylaws which are more restrictive than the province's. If I am not mistaken, they restrict all scorpions, and all tarantula's except for 3 (rose hair, curly hair, and pink toes).

Thanks Ryan,
I'm mainly concerned about Regina. I have a copy of the provincial laws but looking to see if their are any particular by-laws for Regina.

Aha, I has suspected as much....I will have to write those municipalities for copies.
