........the two bearded dragons at my store are funny little guys. The bigger one loves to be handled and will jump around till one of us picks him up and show him some attention.

The smaller one has developed a major attitude problem. He was fine for awhile but lately has been showing his beard left, right and centre.........at anyone and anything. He walks around like he is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I was talking to a customer who was curious about the species the other day, she was looking at the larger of the two and the smaller one walked right over to the larger one, climbed on top of him and proceeded to poop right on his back..............LOL

Is this an age thing?..........I've heard they go through a "teenage" phase that might cause this kind of behaviour but because I don't own any beardies, I haven't witnessed this before..........any ideas?

By the way, the big one is Finch and the little one is named (appropriately right now) STIFLER.............;)

Love all the names! I've seen something like that before. When Norman, our big dumb male (love him to death) hit his 'teens', he started puffing out his beard, and glaring at anything that moved. We had a 2' monitor at the time, and Norman would go up to his cage when we let him out (Norman, not the monitor) and puff up his beard and do that slanty thing they do....he would proceed to march by like this, puffed out, tilted to the side, until he was out of the monitors field of vision. He would then, run like a bat out of hell. It kind of reminded me of my little brother playing foot ball when he was 11. He was the smallest kid on the team, so when he would have to 'tackle' somebody, he would cautiously trot up to the wimpiest player he could see, nudge him gently, and turn around and boot it to the other end of the field, appartently running for his life. I don't think the other player even noticed getting 'tackled'. That didn't matter the my brother though, who was, by this time, hiding behind my mom in the bleachers.
