Umm Id say the easiest Chameleon to Care for is a Veild (only because they will handle your errors better), but most veilds are grumpy and wont like to be handled acually all chameleons do not like to be handled. Some times people will have chams that are very tame but that is rare and a lucky thing to have. Also Chams are not tameable or trainable they do what they want and u cant change it sometimes after alot of work they will relax but.. So i quess what im saying is if u want a lizzard u can play with chams are not a good choice. And all chams are alot of work more them most other lizzards thats for sure. If u do decide to get one make sure u do the reasearch.

Veiled is the easiest chameleon to care for, but all chameleons take work to care for. Not reccomended for childern.

yup, get a bearded dragon if you like to handle, and most are tame, chameleons take a lot of work

Vieled's are really easy to care for. I used to have one years ago but lets just say he was meaner than the Nile monitor I had to babysit for a month. Those things have crazy attitudes. If you want a chameleon that you can handle and dont mind a little more work and spending some more cash get a panther. I love those little guys.

I find that chameleons (just liek people) ALL have different personalities. Like, my 14 month old male Veiled is the nicest cham ever. Tried to bite me maybe twice in his life and other than that he is really calm. However, I hace heard that the more docile chameleons get very nasty like Veields. It all depends on the personality of your chameoleon. If you get a nasty one, bad luck (or improper care). If you get a nice one, I'm happy for ya. But you will just have to wait and see the aggressiveness in them. But yes, Veields are classified as very solitary (95% of chams are) and territorial mainly because the majoriuty of them are nasty. But like I said, you could get a totally docile cham.
