Smilies in my sig?

Hey how do i put a smily in my sig? theres no way of putting one into in my profile. unless im just overlooking it or sumthing.

When you are at the page to edit your profile, look at the bottom left and you will see smilies on or off also if you click on *get smilies* it will tell you what to put into your sig to get the various smilies.
