What is the best size cage for a full grown adult red tailed boa? I just had a request for a price for caging for her boa, and wants me to recommend the best sized cage for it.

I know nothing about snakes so I would like some input about what the best size of cage would be. Is 6' X 2' X 2' a good size, or should it be bigger? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of setup are they looking for? Do they want to add a lot of decorations? Absolute minimum is 4x2 for most Bcc/Colombian Bci, 5x2 is a safe bet in the event you end up with a larger boa on your hands... these sizes don't leave room for anything but the snake though... if they wanted decorations and such, or can afford the extra space, then a 6x2 or larger would suffice.

All of my adult boas will be getting 6x2x2 cages. I find that 4x2 just doesn't cut it for them, as it gives them no room to stretch out, decorations or not.
