I think Fark has the beginnings of RI. EVERY breath whistles, and its a high pitched one too. I upped the heat, and Changed her to aspen (coincidence). Is ther anything else you would recomend doing?
thanx

take her off aspen, the very little dust there is in it certainly can't be helping her if she does have R.I. Other than that I would say take her to a vet. I'm sorry I can't be more help. I hope everything goes ok.

Im pretty sure you only need a vet if it gets out of your control..if you catching it in early stages ive heard before that upping the heat will help...dont know bout the substrate though, sorry!
Get her off the aspen and onto newspaper, make sure your humdity is at a good % for a bp. If the whistling doesn't lessen or cease within a few weeks take it to a vet.
Put her on paper towels, and up the temps to 95-97.

If you had her on aspen she could have some if it stuck in her nose making her whistle. Check her nose closely for stuck sheds and/or material clogging her breathing.
