yup, your gonna get it! Aspen shavings are better, they hold the tunnles extremely well. My little guy LOVES to peek his head out of it. You can barely tell the difference between him and the aspen!

Well its only half sand, and I never feed him on it. I'll probably go with aspen shavings when I replace the substrate again. I am always trying out new substrate to see what works best.
