just double checking, what would the highest you set a very young (2" SVL) nosy be's basking spot at?

im not getting it, how far away from the little guy??? if so 5-10 inches away from the bulb. Or about a hand, a adult hand, around there

i'm talking about temperature. Whats the highest temperature for a nosy be basking spot? sorry should have been specific.

How can you say how far the basking spot should be from the bulb without knowing what the wattage of the bulb is? No offense, but you should be wary of giving advice like that. If i had a 150 watt bulb kickin that panther could be cooked. Just a heads up. Thanks for trying to help though!

I use a 65 watt bulb and it sits about 5 inches from where she basks.
The basking area dosen't need to be warmer than 90F.

o lol, i would think someone wouldnt put a 150 bulb watt in the first place lol, i was guessing that you had around a 60-100 watts, i was gonna mention it but i thought you meant around 60-100 watts so i didnt say anything:p, srry about that. but if you did have a 150 watt, i would change it
