what is the best way to clean wood i found in the forest thankz

If you can, remove any bark or anything that would harbor mold or little creatures. Soak it in a disinfecing solution, and rinse well. Bake it in the oven for at least an hour at 300 or so. Make sure it does not burn or catch on fire though.

if small enough a couple of two minute cycles in the microwave work

I like to use wood that i find as well.What i do is wash the wood down first,make sure there is nothing harmful or any bugs etc.Then i put the wood in a bucket of boiling water.When the water gets cold i add new boiling water.After that i stick it in the oven at 350 degrees(starting to sound like a recipe) and leave it for about a 1/2 hour let it cool and it should be good to go

Cleaning doesn't remove toxins (called "extractives). It just gets rid of bugs and stuff. The toxins are in the and around th cells and initials of the wood. They release for a time after (to be determined by species) the wood is cut or the tree dies.
