This is a little off-topic, but... I need to do a photo slideshow to go along with our High School band's performance of Symphony #1 by Buckvich... it's about the bombing of Dresden during WWII.

It's going pretty good except that I'm running out of resources. Does anyone know of and good websites or have any pictures pertaining to that? I'm looking for bombers, pictures of the city before and after, fire, children in the aftermath... that sort of thing.

any history related website should provide pictures of the bombers. As for the aftermath shots who would know they weren't Dresden if you used other post bombing photos?

try the canadian armed forces archives.......they have tons of resources for info like you are looking for. Also, try talking to the elderly that have been in the wars. They have a wealth of info for what you are looking for. My step father and others that are of his age were in D Day....... and have tons of stories and info.

Osage city is more signifigant than Ottawa! There is someone else on here that is in Witchita (sp?). You don't see many people from KS on here. Just 3 of us so far. I try to send people here all the time, it's not a hard site name to remember!

A search for Dresden turned up the bombing in the 7th result.
