I have a female that's a bit over 2300 grams and about 5.5 feet but I am sure there are bigger ones out there.

The biggest I have right now is 2200 grams. I personally haven't seen any bigger but know there are plenty that are double the size of my girl. There was also one posted on KS that was claimed to be 7000 grams, I'd have to weight that one myself to believe that.

She is probably 5 1/2 feet or better,quite a handful. Ive seen bigger though.My other female is a little heavier,and longer, I havent got any pics of her though.

My biggest are all my adult females and they range from 1700 to 2200 grams.

These two photos are sitting on the sSnakeSs photo gallery, so I must have intended to post them on another thread here on exactly the same subject but never did. What the hey, I’ll trot them out now. Sorry for the poor quality; I can put that off on the person who took them. Both were taken in 2002.

The first is of a female I hatched in 1986. Her highest weight on an empty stomach was 5590 grams. She laid 17 fertile eggs last year. Right now, she only weighs 4400 grams, which is less than her mother does.

The second photo shows a female given to me as a small adult in 1992 because she would not feed. Her highest weight was 5270 grams. She laid 14 fertile eggs last year.

I'm still at the stage where my relatively young girls are getting bigger every year (so just when I think they are huge I learn the next year that they really weren’t relatively speaking).

Here is a picture from last year of two apx. 3,000 gram girls (my scale only goes to 2,400 or so). The one touching the can laid 8 eggs as did another not in the picture. Unfortunately I had to sell both of those 8 egg girls.

The other in the picture didn't lay last year as was the case with another that was also with the same apparently dud male and I think both of those are now near 4,000 grams. I'll have to take them down to the vet's office to weigh them and I'll try to get some updated pics of this year’s “big” girls.

Here, I found the picture on my hard drive and uploaded it to this site (I hope, had to shrink it lots).

I'm about out of space on my web page so the only already online copy I had was at kingsnake and apparently that part of the url was replaced with **** by this server, perhaps in response to the kingsnake server doing the same to most any competitor’s url.


By the way, one of my points is that these girls really aren't that big, it's all relative. They seemed big to me because they where the biggest ones I had seen but now that my girls are a year older and bigger this pic from last year doesn't seem that big. Next year I'll probably look back and think they weren’t all that big this year either. I will try to get a recent pic of my two biggest soon (one of the ones in this year old pic and another I still have).

Largest I've seen is Mike Perry's big girl, I think she weighed in around 5,600 grams after fasting for several months, don't quote me on that though. Largest BP I've owned (and ever will.. no more Ball Pythons for me!) was her son at 4.5' in length (don't have a recent weight on him).
