Noticed this morning that my alligator snapping turtle (he's about 14 inches top shell)has the tip of his snout rubbed almost bare. What should I do?Should I keep him in a dry setup and use polysporin on it ?

put your poorlittle baby and put him in a tank with not alot of water but some cause of course he needs it but let it try and heal that way and you prob should use polysporin on it and check his nailsmake sure they arent what is hurtimg him if so cut them like u would a rabbit dog or cat...be sure not to get the vein you can file ruff edges with a file also if i were u i would call a reptile vet if nothing helps....i hope i helped...and i really do hope your turtle does better...iknow i lovemy snapper(mr. grey) a total of 4inches....:) wellmaybe you can post some picture of the little guy.
