Black milks are tricolors as babies but pure black as adults. Mexi black kings usually are mostly black at birth, usually with only some white speckling on the scutes. Black kings are born with a very visible pattern and usually keep a small amount of it throughout their whole life. Black Milks are huge compared to mex black's and black's. Black milks are much calmer than both as well and can be kept at room temperature. Last but not least, black milks are a bit more expensive and fairly hard to get your hands on compared to the others as well.

I think for the bang for your buck, MEXICAN BLK ALL THE WAY!! There are lots of jet black babies out there. My girl was black black black as a baby and now as an adult she's BLACK! Plus they're shiny!! The blk kings don't look as shiny.

Or you could go for the "Crown Jewels" of N. America, Eastern Indigos that is. They are the largest, blackest Colubrid in N.A. Mind you they cost a pretty penny & aren't readily available. Did I mention I just got a new unrelated male yesterday to go with my 2 female 2003 holdbacks WOO HOO! Mark
P.S. Yeah I just had to bring that up :D even though they aren't Lampros
