Urgent Help Please!

Could anyone tell me how i coculd monitor proof a room?I have a 1ft nile and i wanted to let him free roam my room...what do i need to do?

I gotta a solution for u .. Leave him in his cage..
Man thats a small Nil to let loose .. he could get into anything and I garantee u will not enjoy his time OUt of his cage..

Its your choice to let him loose .. I personally would never do that to a 1 foot nil .. So can't help

Unless you take EVERYTHING out of your room, you cannot proof it for a one foot nile. They shouldn't be allowed to free roam either way.

This is one of the worst ideas I have heard in a while, do you know hpw dangerous this is for the monitor? Like the above post said, you ned to take EVERYTHING out of your room to make it safe.

What about when you are sleeping at night? You arnt afraid of rolling over it and crushing the animal? Do you want it to crap all over your room? I remember in the past you said you were going to build it a cage...what ever happened to that idea?

To do this you need to CONVERT the room into a CAGE. That means you're not living in it anymore. Given the temperature and humidity requirements, it is difficult. I have a thread in the enclosure creation forum on some small room-sized enclosures I'm building- check it out to see what is involved in doing it right.

Unless you've got a lot of time and money, use a cage designed for the purpose.

And definitely, this was not urgent!
