Ive read the care sheet at hognose.com and Im still wondering whats the best enclosure to house one. (I want one sooo bad) Rubbermaid. 15 gallon tank?

Also since they are active early in the A.M. or in the afternoon is a heat pad the best source of heat, or is a light source needed for heat?

Oh and do you guys know of any breeders, Im so jealous when I hear you all going to a show and I dont think New Jersey ever has one.

yes actually, don soderberg breeds them (of South Mountain Reptile). But I don't know if he has any available. his website is www.cornsnake.net
click on "Other Snakes" and scroll down to almost the bottom.

Umm since they are so small, if you get a baby, something like a critter carrier would work best for a while I would say.

My hognose is really active, at random times, it could be pitch black outside/in the room and he will be out wanderin around, or it could be the morning afternoon or evening. It don't matter to him. lol

I use a UTH and keep it around 85-88 degress. I Personally use a rubbermaid with bungies. But am hoping to get a large critter keeper soon.
for an adult male a 10 gal tank is supposed to be fine, and a 15-20 gal tank for a female.

Hope this helped. I would say go look on google or something. But when I did I came up with nearly nothing, and had to pester everyone here for info. lol
