I have a tank that is 4' L x 2.5' H x 1.5'/2' W. I was wondering what I could put in it?? I basicly have no idea what to get. It would have to live there as an adult as well. I have an UTH and it has tile for the bottem although it could be covered up by dirt or something. I also have a heat lamp and an 18" floresent light fixture for UVA/UVB lighting. And nothing too much money. I want to have money left over to care for it ;)

ok, mali uro, bearded dragon, blue tongue skink, a colony of leo gecks. Just look through the old posts, there are other things you can put in there.

I'd go with a trio of Fat Tail geckos :)

I have leo's and don't really want fat tails. Although the uro sounds cool. Anyone have a link to a care sheet?? I'll google it but just wondering if anyone knows a really good one. Also what size does a ackie need as an adult??

I'd totally go for a pair (1.1) of beardies. They're so interesting to watch....

That size enclosure would probably do for an Ackie, but aquariums surely don't make the best enclosures for any monitor. They are hard to regulate humidity and temps (can be done with a custom made lid) and hard to provide a sense of security. Again, I'm not saying it can't be done, I am saying that I think you will have more problems this way.

As for the type of animal you want to get, look at pics and care guidlines and find what you like and what you have the time and resources to house and care for.

Best wishes in your search :)

It's not an aquarium. It's a custom cage. Sorry I never realized that I wrote tank in my first post, it's not. I also never realized how much they are!! I have lots of time to figure out what I want.
