Hello everyone I want to get a columbian boa but I need to know the size of an adult columbian boas cage. So I can get it a head of time. And if anyone knows of a good columbian boa care sheet I would like to know the address thanks for any opinions.
also i am getting a ball python for free so I was wondering if it would be a good trade a ball python and a corn snake for a columbian boa? thanks again , aaron

That trade would be up to you if it is good or not.
As for a cage a 4x4x3 should be fine

The bare minimum for most adults is 4Lx2Wx1H. This doesn't leave you for any room for any sort of decorations or anything.
You may not want to throw a small BCI in to a cage that size however, unless you plan on filling it with A LOT of decorations so your snake can feel secure. Rubbermaids work great if you want something more simple until your snake grows.
Ball Pythons are generally worth between $100 and $200 depending on age and sex, as well as condition. Some females may be worth more. BCI start at $100 and can go up to around $250. Exceptional specimens may fetch higher prices. You may be getting ripped off if you trade both a ball and corn, all depends. Just use your best judgement ;)

thanks guys, do you know where a good care sheet would be though? :)
Here's one from NERD's website:

And here is one from VPI.com:

Those are two rather reputable sources. Good luck on your search, and I too would agree that depending on the quality of all three animals involved, that trade may rip you off. But of course, it all depends; and it is up to you. :)

I am personally setting my standards higher for my adult BCI, as I've noticed that they just don't any room to stretch out. Whereas I was building 4x2x2 cages for them, I've since changed my mind, and they are all getting 6x2x2 cages. Although 4x2 is the bare minimum, do you want to keep your snakes in minimal conditions?
