CLEOPATRA - THE GRAVID STORY - PART 1
Hi there all you boa lovers:
Well for most of you, who still remember the many posts I made on my Columbian Redtail Boa series of Ramses and Cleopatra I have some great news. They gre nice, they grew large, they mated about 4 weeks straight. Ramses is a serious player and once I saw Cleopatra finally had enough, I separated them and Cleopatra has been left alone to do her thing. Trying not to bother her at all and working around her schedule in movement in her cage to clean up and provide fresh water. Once in awhile she' ll take a small food item just as an energy booster every 3 weeks.
So I decided to get some pictures and great too she is exposing herself at the time to get them.
This is Ramses the happy stud himself in his cage just below Cleopatra' s cage.

Here is Cleopatra my Columbian Redtail Boa in her best photo looking like a proud future mother.

Now all I gotta do is cross my fingers and let nature takes its course and hopefully see the full life cycle on these 2 boas. I am so proud of them being they were my 1st pair I got as babies only 1 week old back then. And now they may produce me some babies completing the full life cycle in complete for me.
The waiting game is the hardest part now, with her and my other females. But its all worth it in the end for any boa lover to try a breeding project.
Please stay in touch, the next series of photos I hope will be babies everywhere.
I hope you all enjoyed this post, photos and so on. I appreciate all comments and questions as well.
Thank you.
