just thought i would post some recent pics 'o Farkus. Right now shes almost 10 mo. old and 386g. ON TO THE PICS

I spend all that money on hides and making her cage nice, and to think all she wanted is paper towel!

awesome pics.....Thats why I use aspen, enough to cover the floor, but not enough to bury themselves in, so they have to use their hides.

half of mine burrow and half of them love to be on top of their hide..ahha..cool pics snake hunter

They go under the newspaper / papertowl / any other substrate they can get under because they are thigmotropic, and seek hides in which contact with their backs are made. With proper hides, they are less likely to do so.

AND in the wild they are fossorial (living underground)
