I was fooling around with the camera tonight taking more random pics and this is what I came up with.
18 month old Red Axanthic female in with a 6 month old "het" Red Axanthic male. You can also see the Genetic Stripe male in the bottom of the pic. I actually had about 6 snakes in together but I liked this pic. What other line of Axanthic keeps it's colour after the first couple months????............none that I know of.........they all look brown by a year old!

Genetic Stripe and Lesser Platty. Both have had a couple meals and both have shed.

White Back Albino..................................what can I say????

It's weird how the genetic stripes stripe give the illusion his neck and body are thinner. Well to me at least. Nice snakes d00d.
I wanna see the photos of your striped albino's soon! :D :p

You are correct. When I breed the White Back albino I will produce het Albinos and some of them will be black stripes. I don't plan on breeding albino to albino, so whatever I breed her to I'll produce hets (but more likely double hets).
Marc B,
Yes, hopefully I do produce Lucy's from my Lesser male! Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a Lesser platty male that was father from the Platty male (Platty Daddy). Ralph only produced lesser females from the Platty Daddy but no males. Otherwise I would have gotten one direclty from the platty daddy. However, to increase my chances of producing Lucy's as well as "Platty Daddy's" I picked a male from clutch number 39 (http://www.ralphdavisreptiles.com/birthing_record/pythons_4.asp). These guys were produced from breeding a lesser platty male to a normal female from the Platty Daddy. This should increase my chance of my male having the genes for Lucy and platty daddy. I have a pair of Lessers from the Platty Daddy on my wish list for the 2004 season.
Jennifer
I plan on breeding the Genetic Stripe and Lesser Platty males to as many females as possible. I'll mainly be breeding them into other mutations to produce double hets. When I bought the Lesser from Ralph I told him "I'm going to breed him into everything!". I'll keep back all of the females and sell some of the males. I'll basically be breeding them into all of the mutations that I'm dealing with. Hopefully we see some neat things pop out in 3-5 years.
Thanks for the kind words everyone!
Corey
Anyone who can use the word "platty" in a paragraph nine times is definitly into some ball python **** I will never be able to understand most likely. LOL :D
