It has not been published yet. And it will not be published in its current form. Something similar will be out soon ;)

It is offline per the author (who is no longer involved in herps). There are several members who have it on file, but the file is a bit large to email.

If the author gives distribution permission I'd be happy to put it on a website.

You cannot put it on a website or it would be on mine. But those of us that have copies saved can distribute them for personal educational purposes.

Who wrote this Venom 101? Was it a joint effort by some of the people on here, or was it a single person? If it ever becomes available, I also would like to have it.

Venom 101 was originally written several years ago by Allen Hunter. He has since left the reptile industry all together and wants nothing to do with it. So legally noone can put it on their site. There are other projects along the same lines in the works. ;)

i'll be glad to send it to you ben. hotmail, aol, and yahoo will not transfer it. its too large. my work email has no size limit, so i can send it, but you will have to find an email big enough to receive. if you can't, send me your address, i can print a copy and post it to you. its good info!

Just outta curiousity, why did this Mr. Hunter decide to drop out of the herpetology scene? If he wrote something as great as Venom 101, which is revered among hot keepers, he must have been extremely knowledgeable on the subject of hots. It seems it would be very hard to just up and leave this hobby behind.

He has kept his reasons private. Only he knows for certain. I try not to specualte or perpetuate rumors that I have heard.

I've recently been studying hots, and I'm thirsty for more knowledge... Venom 101 sounds like a very informative book. In the future, I am hoping to study toxicology, I have several years of University ahead of me. :) Chuck, could you possibly Email me a copy? I can PM you my Email address.
