Hey all.
I am looking for feedback from anyone whose has experience with these. Do they hold a temp of 100 degrees F, as advertised?
Thanks.

I have one in my 100 gal. beardie reptarium. The temp right above it right now is 96 degrees. Close enough?

Thanks for the reply Bighead. I am looking to use a couple for snakes, so 96 is great.

What kind of snakes? For most snakes you wouldn't want it to get to 100 anyway. You will need to get a rheostat or lamp dimmer to keep the temp down to where you want it depending on the species of snake.

Yeah, I have a rheostat.
From a search, I saw someone complaining that their cobra only hit 80 degrees. If this is a common occurrence, I obviously don't want one.

I only have one Cobra and it is at 90 for my BP and that is with the dimmer turned all the way up.
