I have a friend that has copperheads all over her yard .Does anyone one know of a humane way to get rid of them. I would rather not kill them but they are in her yard when shes mowing the grass. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thnx Mikeee

You can buy Snake repellant from
http://www.pestproducts.com/wildlife.htm
its something like 87% effective against coppers

Where does your friend live? The best way to keep them away is to remove all rubbish...including but certainly not limited to wood piles, rock piles, lumber piles...anything that they might use for cover. If there is a creek or pond on the property...not likely that she will ever see the end of them no matter what she does...another thing...is she and are you certain that they are indeed copperheads? A LOT of other species are commonly mistaken for coppers....some people call pretty much anything with no legs a copperhead lol. anyway good luck...if she happens to be anywhere near Georgia...maybe I can come out and help.
