Here's my 8 year old BCI (Priscilla). She's getting pretty fat ! She's also getting ready to shed. This will be her fourth litter. One thing I've noticed is that when she's pregnant , she seems to get a lot darker...... Anyone else notice this ? Cheers, Les

I have the same thing with one of my boas and i don't know why she does that.

She's a beauty! Can you imagin what the market would be for the first guy to breed a solid black boa? I don't know about anyone else, but it's somthing I'd love to have in my collection!

Well, she shed her skin yesterday, and I have to say that she looks great.......... must be that "maternal glow" that the fairer sex gets when they're expecting .......... She's still very dark, but now she has that beautiful irridescence going on as well. She's as big around as my thigh right now. Her other litters were all born during the first week of April, but I have a feeling that she may go sooner.......... We'll see........ Cheers, Les
