Just had to share a couple of pics we took today. I love the black patches he keeps developing all over.
The flash on the camera brought out the red a little more than we would have liked but it is very close to actual coloration.
Hope you all like the pics!

I like the way the black is coming in dorsally. Nice pic of the tongue too.- that's almost impossible to catch on film, fully extended like that, without blurring. Which reminds me: check to see if it's sibling has a blond patch in the middle of it's tongue. If so, you may have one of the mutations that appears to be genetic, showing up on about 25% of the neonates from both of Arch-nemesis's last two litters.

Best to you guys,

Tyler

Thanks for all the great responses!

Tyler - We can't thank you enough for these little guys. They are getting better with age and we can't wait to see what they'll turn out like. Here is a pic of that blond patch on the tongue. We posted a pic of it a while back but didn't question it that much. Do either of the parents have this patch??

Ryan and Katie, neither of the parents have that blonde patch, only the babies.
Ghi, that's a truly awesome tongue shot- and the blonde patch is identical. Do you know more about that mutation/ how common it is? Or perhaps your snake is a sibling to the ones we already know of?
