Hey everyone I was wondering if someone could help me out. There is an awesome looking snake at a local petstore and its marked as a sunglow but I dont think it is. It is about 3.5 feet and has a motley pattern that is barely visible and pure white belly. I thought the white stomach was a bloodred trait. I would consider buying it if it were a bloodred thats why I'm wondering.

Motleys have no checked pattern on the belly, so it could be a sunglow motley rather than a bloodred - they are much more common. If it is a hatchling bloodred the saddle pattern on the back would still be quite visible as it typically doesn't fade for quite some time (lots of variation),

Thanks that makes more sense now. I didn't know motleys had no stomach pattern.
